Built for players who take the game seriously.

01
Individual First

Every player gets a plan built specifically for them — not a template with their name on it.

02
Long-Term Thinking

Decisions are made based on what's best for a player's career — not just the next tournament.

03
Honest Communication

Parents and players always know exactly where they stand and what needs to happen next.

This academy exists because the best coaching shouldn't only be available to players already inside a major facility.

Giannis Iatridis grew up playing tennis in Greece, and after coaching at some of the most competitive environments in Europe — including the Mouratoglou Tennis Center in Costa Navarino — he brought that standard to the Netherlands.

Over 7,000 hours of coaching, across players of all levels and backgrounds, taught him one thing: what separates players who reach their potential from those who don't isn't talent. It's the quality and consistency of their coaching environment.

Iatridis Tennis Academy in Nieuwkoop is a small, intentional program — designed for a select group of juniors who are ready to train seriously, and for adults who want to genuinely improve rather than just hit balls.

What makes this different?

Most academies are built to scale. This one isn't. The cohort stays small by design — because real development requires real attention.

Having a coach at the tournament — not just in practice — changed everything. The guidance between matches, the calm analysis, the preparation for the next opponent. It's a completely different level of support.

Questions parents ask before getting started.

How do I know if the junior program is the right fit for my child?
+

The best way to find out is through a free trial session. It costs nothing and gives both your child and the coach a real picture of where they are and what they need. Most parents who come in uncertain leave with a clear answer.

My child is already training at another club. Can they also train here?
+

Yes. Many players use this program to supplement their club training — particularly for tournament preparation, video analysis, or technical work that requires more individual attention than a club environment can provide.

How is the program aligned with the KNLTB competition calendar?
+

Training plans are built around competition phases — preparation periods, tournament blocks, and recovery windows. Your child's training load, focus, and intensity are adjusted throughout the year based on what the competition calendar demands.

Do you offer travel coaching at tournaments outside the Netherlands?
+

Yes. Tournament coaching and travel support across Europe is available for juniors competing on the ITF circuit or at international events. This is arranged on a case-by-case basis depending on the tournament schedule.

Is this only for elite players, or can beginners join?
+

The junior high-performance program is designed for players who are already competing and committed to improving. Adult coaching is open to all levels. If you're unsure whether your child qualifies for the junior program, the trial session will answer that clearly.

How many players are in each program at one time?
+

The junior cohort is kept small by design — maximum 12 juniors total. Group sessions run with a maximum of 4 players, and private sessions are exclusively one-on-one with the head coach. This is a deliberate choice — not a marketing claim.

Is there a parent portal or progress tracking system?
+

Yes. Current academy members have access to the Player Portal where they can view weekly fitness schedules, training plans, and the coach's notes on their player's development. Access is provided upon enrollment.
